This Privacy Policy explains how MICRO GIGS (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our website and services.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: full name, username, email address, phone number, profile picture, role (earner/advertiser), and password (stored as a protected hash).
- Transaction data: activation and deposit references, amounts, bank details you submit for withdrawals, and payment screenshots you upload for verification.
- Activity data: tasks, proofs, referral relationships, notifications, and community chat messages (including images you send).
- Technical data: basic device/browser information and logs needed for security and debugging.
2. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and show your profile in community features
- To process activations, deposits, withdrawals, and referral commissions
- To operate tasks, admin review, and customer support
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- To improve the Platform and communicate important service messages
3. Legal bases (where applicable)
We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention.

5. Payments
Bank transfers are made by you to accounts we publish. We store the payment details and screenshots you submit so admins can verify transactions. We do not store full card numbers on our servers for automatic card charging because deposits/activations are manual.
6. Cookies & local storage
We use essential browser storage (e.g. session/login state) so you stay signed in and the app works. We do not use this for third-party advertising networks on the core app pages.
7. Data security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and database security rules where configured. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and keep your login private.
8. Data retention
We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed for audits, disputes, and legal requirements. You may request account closure via support; some records may be retained where required.
9. Your choices
- Update profile details (including phone/email where the app allows)
- Contact support to request access or correction of your data
- Stop using the service and request account review/closure
10. Children
The Platform is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. International users
Our primary audience is Nigeria, but technical processing may occur on servers in other countries through our hosting providers.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use means you accept the updated Policy.
